So I have a little time, thus I will spout off a few things I have on my mind.
So, today I got to enjoy reading an email from my Dad that he got from my aunt about how I look like my Great, Great Uncle Townes (that would be the guy that founded the Pharmacy school at the University of Florida and my dad's namesake). Anyways, look at the picture. Does this mean that I look like a combination of the guy who always got beat up in gym class and Mister Rogers? I dont know. I guess I dont see it.
Lets see...what else? I did get to wear a Polo shirt today and I flipped the collar up for about five minutes just to see what would happen. Dirtiest looks EVER. People are just jealous, or I am stupid. Either way...
I got my Poly Sci test back today. 101! Holla at ya Boy. :-\ (That is the face of me eating oranges in celebration. Again, more dirty looks.)
So I went home this weekend. Nothing too eventful. I got to go shopping! Always fun. I spent about an hour picking out shirts and ties that matched. Loads of fun.
Then I just got to chill. I saw Mitzi for a bit; always an adventure. Sunday I came back to Martin after church and lunch, had some more churchin', played in the worst basketball game EVER (as we got mercy ruled by 30 points for the third game in a row), and then chilled in Shanna's room until I was forceably removed around midnight or so (at least that is what the police report says. j/k!!!)
Anyways, that is about it. So yeah...

Does this really matter, since no one reads this?
So it has been a little while. Still nothing interesting has happened. You would think after a week and a half that something would have happened...but no. Thus, I will merely take ordinary boring things that did happen and blow them WAY out of proportion. This most definitely has been the WORST week EVER! OK, probably not. But since I am blowing things out of proportion, it is now. It was "concentrated recruitment week" (i.e. RUSH). I hate rush. It sucks. Especially in the spring, at least half the guys are repledges (thus, know where they are going) and the other half consist of two good guys and enough tools to fill a Home Depot. So I gotta show up and put out the BS like there is no tomorrow. I hate that. Such garbage.
To add to the "fun" of the week I also had 4 tests. Genetics: I get the test back and the prof tells me that his records have me as Leigh Townes and since I wrote Tucker Leigh on the test his head exploded twice. Lovely. If only that was all I had to do. Then yesterday I had an A&P test and a Physical Chemistry test back-to-back. To cap all that off, my Poly Sci test is tomorrow. That should be pretty easy, though.
Even more fun: On Monday morning I had to finish a lab for P-Chem, so I got into one of the Organic labs. Dr. Devenyi (I dont care if I spell his name right, since he hates me like Hilter) walked in and I said, "Hi, Dr. Devenyi. How are you?" He responds with nothing but a glare, as though I asked him if he would mind jumping out of the window so I could test my theory that he is in fact Lucifer himself. Ole punk self...Then today in P-Chem lab, I spent 3 hours to gain absolutely nothing at all. I tried to make this calorimeter fire 5 times, and it never worked. Maybe things will get better tonight when I go to McKenzie for an ACS meeting teaching middle-aged chemistry professors how to make their own beer.
-MAYBE I WILL; GOSH!-
So yeah...I got that going for me. That and I did get to hear new Kelly Clarkson song "Since You've Been Gone" while we were in the lab working. The high point of the week came when after doing some voice work for the Communications Department, I received a dollar and bought a Chocolate Moose. Sad, but true; the highlight of my week is a milk beverage. Anyways, until something else happens or I feel the need to compulsively lie...

Just as I Promised
So yeah...nothing new has happened since 11:30, but I promised that I would put up this picture from Shanna's birthday back in December, since she got mad at me because I called her my "movie watching companion." So yeah...
Slama Lama Ding Dong
So yeah...There isnt too much going on right now. But since I must be funny in order for people to like me, here goes nothing.
This weekend I got to go to Crossroads in Chattanooga, which is a convention of the college aged folks from Baptist churches in TN, GA, AL, and SC. It was a moving experience. It was also very cold, as I found out when I went outside for about two and a half hours with no jacket on (that was stupid). But whatever. I got to talk with some street guys with some other people that were there with me. Good stuff.
Also, as a mission project, we went as a group to a widow's house and cleaned up her backyard and recovered her roof. Me being the greatest handyman ever (ha!!!), I was put on the roof. We were on that stinkin' roof for six and a half hours straight. But two good things came from it:
1. The satisfaction of knowing that I was part of spreading God's love to another person
2. I am NOT changing my major to roofing anytime soon.
Really that is it. Maybe something funny will happen later today. We'll see. Holla.

Kwazy Krisps...Bowohh!...That's Kwazy
So how about today I finally finished my "Hooked on Typing" program. Ok. Not really, but I think that would be a pretty funny joke. And by joke I mean, humorous situation. And by humorous situation, I mean very, very sad.
Anyway...I really have not been up to much these past few weeks. Ever since school began, I have been kinda bogged down (or "blogged" down; HA!). I guess it is just hard to getting back in the swing of things between going to class, coming in late and having the professor stop class just to redicule me, and studying for the April MCAT. Stressful times, but you know...you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, and there you have the facts of life.
Other that those things I have done approximately four things:
1. I ate/slept/made use of the facilities (since they are all related, they count as one activity).
2. I have been active in my church up here in Martin. This is a change in tone, but whatever you think of me remember this: without God, I am nothing; but with Him, I am everything.
3. I watched some TV/movies. For my birthday/Christmas I got two seasons of "The Simpsons" and three seasons of "Seinfeld" on DVD. So I watch those between my classes. Also, I finally got to see "Garden State." I thought it was filled with some classically funny moments (like the knight getting some milk). It did have some "raunchy" scenes, but my "movie watching companion" decided to cover my eyes in those parts. Needless to say, I had to let her have a piece of my mind (i.e. do nothing). I also tried to watch the movie "Saved." I had to turn it off ten minutes into it. I wanted to poke my eyes out with any blunt object within three feet of my person (i.e. not exactly my vote for Best Picture anytime soon).
4. OK. I have been able to sum up my life over the last two months in three points. This last point is just to make me feel better about myself. Not really. My life has never been better, except for that time I won a million dollars and spent it all on cans of mandarin oranges (but that was just a dream, and I do have some mandarin oranges in the fridge). So yeah...I got that going for me.
That is all I got. I am going to eat some Taco Bell, watch Scrubs, and then sleep for as long as possible. Holla.
